Welcome To

Teens Matter 2

Where therapy, expertise and genuine connection come together.

At Teens Matter 2, we understand that no two young people experience mental health in the same way. Every adolescent and young adult has their own story, strengths and challenges, which is why we believe care should never be one-size-fits-all.

Our purpose-built practice has been thoughtfully designed as a warm, welcoming and tranquil space where young people and their families can feel safe, comfortable and supported. From the moment you walk through the door, our aim is to create an environment that fosters trust, connection and hope, allowing meaningful therapeutic work to take place.

We offer highly personalised mental health care, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. Whether support involves psychotherapy, practical strategies, family-focused interventions, medication management, or a combination of approaches, every treatment plan is tailored to the person sitting in front of us.

One of the unique benefits of Teens Matter 2 is the ability to receive both therapeutic support and medication assessment and prescribing within the same practice. This integrated model reduces the need to navigate multiple specialists, creating a seamless, collaborative approach to care that saves families time while ensuring treatment remains consistent, connected and centred around the young person.

At Teens Matter 2, we believe the best outcomes come from building genuine relationships, understanding the whole person, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a place where young people feel truly seen, heard and valued.

Supporting young people to navigate life's challenges, with care that's as individual as they are.

Parent-child relationship difficulties

Understanding the relationship between a parent and a child is extremely complex and considered one of the most enduring and significant relationships in one’s life.

Self Harming

Self-harm is a way of expressing and dealing with deep distress and emotional pain. It includes anything you do to intentionally injure yourself.

Depression and mood issues

While we all feel sad, moody or low from time to time, some people experience these feelings intensely, for long periods of time (weeks, months or even years) and sometimes without any apparent reason.

Behavioural Problems

All young children can be naughty, defiant and impulsive from time to time, which is perfectly normal. However, some children have extremely difficult and challenging behaviours that are outside the norm for their age.

Bullying

Bullying happens when a person or a group of people repeatedly and intentionally use words or actions to cause distress and harm to another person’s wellbeing.

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety, worry, and stress are typically a normal part of everyday life. Anxiety is an important and sometimes necessary warning signal alerting us to a dangerous or difficult situation.

Trauma

Emotional and psychological trauma is the result of extraordinarily stressful events that shatter your sense of security, leaving you feeling helpless in what seems like a dangerous world.

A safe place to be heard and a personalised path to healing.
